Duration: From 20 Oct to 31 Dec 2024Area of implementation: Omdurman locality On October 2024 JASMAR singed sub grant agreement with DRC to implement land release activities in Khartoum. 4 Non technical survey teams trained and accredited by National Mine Action center (NMAC ) to conduct mine action Non Technical survey in Omdurman.The teams was able to archive the following in two month operation period:-1. 18,125 square meters been surveyed.2. 3 conformed hazard area (CHA) reported 3. 6 suspected hazard areas (SHA) reported 4. 15 Explosive ordnance victims reported.5. 83 EORE sessions conducted by the teams for total of 3013 at risk people in Omdurman.6. indirect beneficiaries achieved is 12,560 benefited from the NTS teams activities.7. Total of 2241 EORE Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials are used to convey EORE messaging in order to support the overarching behavior change strategy developed to respond to the explosive ordnance in Omdurman problem
