Project duration: from 1 Oct 2024 to 31 March 2025Implementation area: Khartoum state Omdurman & Bahari localities To contribute to the implementation of land release activities in Omdurman areas a sub grant support agreement was signed between DRC and JASMAR Human Security Organization to implement land release : mine clearance and survey activities in Omdurman during the period from 1st December 2024 to 30 Jan 2025.The project was able to archive the following:1. 625,209 square meter was been surveyed by 4 mine action multi tasks teams (MTTs) in Omdurman and Bahari localities.2. 498,800 square meter cleared from un exploded ordnance .3. 3,607 exploded ordnance (483 UXO and 3124 small arms ammunition ) disposed by project teams.4. 8388 at risk people covered by Explosive ordnance risk education efforts
