The JASMAR Organization for Human Security participated in the event celebrating World White Cane Day, organized by the Union of the Blind at the Higher Council for People with Disabilities, under the patronage of the State Minister of Social Welfare and with the honor of the Governor of Al-Jazeera State. The event included traffic awareness about using the white cane and the distribution of certificates honoring the participating entities. At 22/10/2026 in the Hospitality Palace Hall in Greater Madani. Under the slogan: 'My Cane, My Protection'
JASMAR, within the framework of efforts to consolidate humanitarian work and smart partnership with the Union of People with Disabilities, and in implementation of our Inclusion policy of integrating people with disabilities, this event comes to magnify this role, which was implemented in partnership with the Supreme Council for People with Disabilities, the Ministry of Social Welfare, and the Traffic Department of Al Gazira State. The celebration included several segments, including the procession, awareness-raising on the importance of respecting the rights and culture of the traffic law for people with disabilities, a speech by the Governor of the State, who commended the efforts of organizations in advocating for the issues of people with disabilities, and honoring some leaders of the Union.
