Social Behavior Change (SBC) activities within the SPEEP Remedial Education Project.
An initiative that encourages communities to view education as a shared responsibility, one that calls for the active participation of parents, teachers, religious leaders, women, youth, volunteers, and community Key persons.
JASMAR Human Security Organization is implementing five sessions of Community Behavior Change (SBC) activities under the Remedial Education Project (SPEEP), with the aim of promoting positive community attitudes towards education, strengthening community participation, and supporting children’s access to quality learning opportunities. These five sessions were held in the Almatama and Barbar localities from 18 to 19 October 2026, targeting five groups of community members (Parent-Teacher Associations, women, religious leaders, and volunteers).
The initiative seeks to encourage communities to recognize that education is a shared responsibility requiring the active involvement of parents, teachers, religious leaders, women, youth, volunteers, and influential community members.
Through community awareness sessions and participatory engagement, the project aims to address barriers to education, promote inclusive learning environments, reduce school dropout, and strengthen community ownership of educational activities
