Community Mobilization to Support Education through Community Platforms

Implementing activities that promote the continuity of education in their communities through a Behavior Change Approach.

The activity aims to engage the community, represented by:

  • Education volunteers
  • Religious leaders
  • Mothers and fathers
  • Key community influencers

The objective is to mobilize these community members to support the remedial education project in the targeted primary schools across the following localities:

Abu Hamad, Berber, Atbara, EL-Damer, and Al-Matamma.

The session emphasized the importance of a safe, respectful, and dignified environment for all individuals receiving humanitarian assistance.

JASMAR Organization, in partnership with the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, in coordination ( GFFO ) with the National Mine Action Center (NMAC) and the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC), and in cooperation with East Al Gazira Locality, implemented project activities focused on risk education sessions on the dangers of war remnants and explosive and non-explosive ordnance.
