Conducted EORE awareness sessions in Tambool area in Sharq AlGazira Locality

JASMAR Organization, in partnership with the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, in coordination ( GFFO ) with the National Mine Action Center (NMAC) and the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC), and in cooperation with East Al Gazira Locality, implemented project activities focused on risk education sessions on the dangers of war remnants and explosive and non-explosive ordnance. The number of beneficiaries reached approximately 7,466 direct beneficiaries, including a number of schools, mosques, women’s centers, and markets, during Sept 2026

JASMAR was covered Tambul areas: Al-Aylab, Ad Al-Khadr, Al-Hussein, Wad Al-Arki, Dar Al-Muqawama Al-Sha'biya, Al-Sururab, Mus'ab bin Umair Basic School, Hai Al-Hafir, Women's Center, Al-Farouq Mixed School, Al-Hashashab and Ad Al-Haj. and Wad Rawah areas: Wad Rawah Mosque, the Grand Market, Al-Fadni Village, Al-Nabati Mosque Khalwa, Al-Makda Village, Badiab Village, Sheikh Maki Village.

During the reporting period, the JASMAR team was able to implement the following activities:

• EORE sessions

• Monitoring and responding to 4 reports through coordination with the National Mine Action Center.

The session emphasized the importance of a safe, respectful, and dignified environment for all individuals receiving humanitarian assistance.
