PSEA and Safeguarding Training for Community-Based Protection Networks and Committees
As part of its commitment to safe, accountable, and inclusive humanitarian programming, JASMAR conducted a training and awareness session on Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) and safeguarding for Community-Based Protection Networks (CBPNs) and Community Committees
The comprehensive session enhanced participants' understanding of key protection topics, including expected standards of conduct, child and adult safeguarding, safe reporting mechanisms, and survivor-centered approaches. Through interactive discussions, community members and network representatives learned about their vital roles and responsibilities in preventing harm and creating a safe environment. This activity reinforces JASMAR’s commitment to accountability, protection, and the promotion of respectful humanitarian services, ensuring that all interventions uphold the dignity, rights, and overall well-being of affected populations.
