Joint Field Visit to Assess 2024 Year-End Project in White Nile State

A recent joint field visit was conducted to monitor the 2024 year-end project in White Nile State, aiming to evaluate JASMAR’s performance in relation to project targets and actual achievements. During the visit, the UNHCR team inspected the Al-Jabalein Youth Center, where JASMAR has carried out significant rehabilitation efforts to enhance community facilities. Additionally, essential equipment was provided to strengthen Community-Based Protection Networks (CBPNs), supporting their ongoing operations. The team had the opportunity to engage with CBPN members who had participated in Psychological First Aid (PFA) training, highlighting the project’s focus on mental health and community resilience. Furthermore, the visit included meetings with three groups benefiting from Income-Generating Activities (IGA), showcasing efforts to enhance economic empowerment. The team was pleased to witness the positive impact of the project on the community, reinforcing the importance of continued support for sustainable development initiatives.
