Community Security and Small Arms control (CSAC) for White Nile state, Joda

This project aims to enhance community security and control the proliferation of small arms in the Joda area of White Nile State through the implementation of a set of integrated activities, including:Conducting a baseline assessment to collect essential data for evaluating the constitutional and organizational status of existing community structures, and identifying key gaps and priority needs.Establishing or strengthening the Community Security and Arms Control (CSAC) Committee as a functional community-based institution responsible for addressing local security concerns and small arms monitoring.Providing targeted support to ex-combatants, women, and at-risk youth, with the goal of promoting social reintegration, enhancing livelihoods, and reducing violence.Implementing community awareness campaigns focused on the dangers of small arms proliferation and the importance of local participation in enhancing community safety.This project is supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Commission (DDRC), with an estimated budget of 675,000.00 Sudanese Pounds (SDG).
